Last updated July 23, 2008 Privacy Statement At F2F we take your privacy very seriously. This statement is meant to inform you of the measures we take to give you peace of mind when dealing with F2F. Collection of Your Personal Information All of the information that you submit to us voluntarily such as name, address, and email address will stay private and secure to the best of our abilities relative to accepted industry practices. In fact, we aim to exceed the standard industry practices when practicable. We utilize SSL security in our transactions and we encrypt and secure your credit card information and that information may not be used other than by your informing us that you would like to perform a transaction that will require your reentering your credit card information. Your personal information is not resold or rented to outside sources. We will analyze your and others personal information such as purchase history, IP address, and specific technical information relating to your connection and traffic only to enhance your interaction with F2F. Use of Your Personal Information We use your personally identifiable information including email address and name to allow you to share special offers with your Friends and to send you transactional emails such as F2F Credit account information, receipt information, general personal F2F account information, and F2F system update information. When you send offers to your Friends, an email will be sent in your name and from F2F.com (ex. Bjones@f2f.com) inviting them to take advantage of your special deal. This is a one-time email from you, unless you choose to send your Friend another offer. If your Friend has unsubscribed from receiving F2F offers the email will not be sent to them and we will send you an email indicating that this Friend has requested to not receive offers from F2F. Use of Cookies A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user's computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies to enhance your experience with our site by placing them on your browser. We do not link the information we store in cookies to personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. We only use session ID cookies to make it easier for you to navigate our site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. We use session ID cookies to make sure that you are you during your session on our site. If you reject cookies, you may still navigate to our site, but you will not be able to access your account, the F2F Catalog, send offers to Friends or make purchases as the shopping cart uses session ID cookies to maintain your session throughout the purchase process. This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by www.f2f.com only and does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers. We use a third-party tracking service that uses cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site in the aggregate to track usage and volume statistics. We have no access to or control over these cookies. In addition, we do not use any tracking technologies within our email communications to you. Vendor Relationships We require our vendors, to the best of our abilities, to adhere to our belief in the privacy of your information. We compel our vendors to always subscribe to an opt-in policy relating to the sharing of your information with related parties. If you ever discover that a vendor that you have transacted with through F2F has violated this trust, notify us immediately and we will bring the wrath of F2F to bear upon said vendor (we really do take this stuff seriously). Please note that by using the F2F service and site you agree to and accept the F2F Privacy Policy. If you do not agree we fully understand and accept that you will express such disagreement by not using F2F and its services. Note that the vendors from whom you purchase through F2F are allowed to contact you as a consumer of their product. Service Providers We use other third parties (e.g. credit card processors and the 3rd parties providing the offer) to process your credit card and fulfill your order (such as a magazine subscription). When you sign up for a special retail offer, we will share credit card and contact information as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are not permitted to use your personally identifiable information for their own promotional purposes. We do not share your personally identifiable information including email address with any third parties that are not agents or service providers or as described in this privacy policy (see Legal Disclaimer). Legal Disclaimer We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE The Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy are separately and severally covered by agreeing to the following: F2F - F2F Network The F2F service and network are available to anyone that has the legal right to purchase goods offered by our service. F2F reserves the right to cancel any account that is opened under false pretenses or that violates the following Terms of Use and/or Privacy Policy. As we are in Beta release, we reserve the right to modify the following Terms of Use at any time without notification. Accounts Accounts are opened by one being invited to join the F2F Network. Upon opening an account with F2F you agree to allocate a portion of all transactions through F2F to be held aside by F2F to be allocated as gifts from you to individuals in your F2F Friends Line. This line will be created by your inviting others through vendor offers to join the F2F Network and, upon their acceptance of the offer, they will, based upon invite priority become a member of your F2F Friends Line. Access to Personally Identifiable Information If your personally identifiable information changes including email address, you may correct or update it by logging in to F2F.com and going to the My Account section to make the changes. If you no longer desire our service, you may delete your account by emailing our Customer Support at customerservice@f2f.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below. F2F Credit The gifts that you receive from your friends will be in the form of F2F Credit. F2F Credit is redeemable for US currency once your account has reached a vested balance of at least $10.00 US. Vesting shall be for the full amount of F2F Credit received for the specific purchase and F2F Credit will be vested 60 days after the completed transaction for which F2F Credit is being earned. F2F Credit may also be used to purchase goods in the F2F Catalog and on any other offers that you receive that are participating in F2F. As F2F Credit is based upon gifts from your friends, the cash value of such F2F Credit will be maintained in a separate bank account maintained by F2F. Refunds and Returns Member F2F Credit Accounts will be adjusted for any product that is refunded or returned. Products for which F2F Credit has been redeemed should not be refunded or returned. In the event, that F2F Credit has been redeemed for product that has been refunded or returned, the Member account will carry an adjusting balance until the difference has been reconciled. F2F reserves the right to pursue all legal means at its disposal for any purposeful fraud in relation to this issue. Personal Information We will require personal contact information upon your redemption of F2F Credit for currency such as name and email address. You agree to provide us with accurate information upon our request. In accordance with our Privacy Policy, we will safeguard all of your personal information and will not share, sell or rent your personal information to outside parties except as described in this privacy statement. You agree to secure your account password to help in maintaining the integrity of your account's security. Should you compromise your account information you agree to notify us as soon as is practicable and we will endeavor to secure your account as soon as possible. E-mail Rules As a member of F2F you agree to send e-mail only to people that you personally know or those that have opted-in to receive email from you. You further agree to not send any more than 50 offer/invite or other F2F emails per day across all offers that you may receive to pass along. We are very serious about combating SPAM and we require that all members comply with the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 (http://www.ftc.gov/spam/) as well as our Terms of Use. Properly used F2F will eradicate SPAM and unnecessary marketing emails and snail mails. You agree to be responsible and thoughtful when sending F2F related correspondence. Any personalization of the offers must be in accordance with the offer. No misleading statements or bulk mailing will be tolerated. Any Member that violates these terms will have his/her account immediately terminated. Fraud, Bamboozling and Simply Bad Behavior F2F Members agree not to attempt to accrue F2F Credit fraudulently, or through activity outside the scope of the program. Members agree not to use false information to become members of F2F. Upon joining and while a Member you agree to provide accurate information as stated above. Also, you agree not to create, use or enable to be used through your direct action any program or device to create false accounts, or to send automated e-mailings to circumvent our aforementioned E-mail rules. F2F desires to deliver to you the best buying, selling and sharing proposition possible.
